1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Koala UI products and services: the Site, the React component library, its sections, page examples and templates, the Figma library, and the koalaui CLI. By using any of them you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
2. The Koala UI License
What you may build with Koala UI, and what you may not, is set out in the License Agreement. It has two tiers: the Free tier, which anyone may use at no cost, and the Pro tier, which needs a license. By installing or buying Koala UI you agree to it.
3. Purchases
Licenses are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record: it takes the payment, charges the taxes that apply where you live and issues your receipt and license key. A license is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms also apply to the purchase itself. Refunds follow the Refund Policy.
4. Your license key
Your license key is personal to the people your plan covers. Keep it private: anyone who has it can use your seats. If you think it has leaked, write to us straight away and we will help you secure it.
5. What is not allowed
You may not:
- resell, redistribute or publish Koala UI outside the uses the License Agreement allows;
- share your license key beyond the seats you bought, or try to reach the Pro source without a valid license;
- use the Site, the CLI or its API in a way that harms them or other users, including automated scraping of the Pro source;
- make fraudulent purchases or chargebacks.
6. Order refusal and license revocation
We may refuse or cancel an order, change access to the product, or revoke a license if we suspect fraud, unauthorized transactions or a breach of the License Agreement.
7. Official sources
Get Koala UI only from the Site, the koalaui CLI (the koalaui-cli package on npm) or the Figma file we send you. We are not responsible for damage caused by copies obtained anywhere else.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
Koala UI is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep it accessible, secure and free of errors, but we do not guarantee that the product or the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Koala UI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, data or business, arising from your use of the product or the Site. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that the law does not allow us to limit.
10. Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, and the few cookies the Site needs in the Cookies Policy.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and we will email license holders about any material change. Continuing to use the product after a change means you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you buy as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim before the courts of that country.
